Bubs, Toddlers And Children
I can support you and your family by helping you to overcome any eating and feeding challenges that your child might be experiencing. I can support you with optimising your child’s nutritional intake, growth and development :
- General nutrition advice: I can help reduce the pressure and stress of any nutritional concern you have for your child. I will assess your concern and provide specific and achievable nutrition recommendations to improve or alleviate it.
- Gastrointestinal conditions — cow’s milk protein proctocolitis, constipation, fructose and lactose intolerance
- Toddlers’ diarrhoea — Improving tummy aches and loose stools with dietary modifications.
- Introducing solids — Guidance if you are at a loss on how to begin. Support when you have tried to introduce tastes of foods and it doesn’t go according to plan.
- Avoidant eaters — I can help provide strategies to reduce dependence on fluids or milk to optimise opportunities for exploration and/or acceptance of a wide range of foods. I have supported many families who are finding it difficult to achieve positive mealtime experiences when it comes to picky eaters. I am neurodiverse-affirming “food therapist” and “dietitian”. I prioritise meaningful engagement and ensure sensory preferences and food passions are embraced and not changed.
- Growth concerns — I can help to modify nutritional intake to optimise energy availability for growth. This can involve modifying infant formula to finding easy and practical ways to boost dietary intake. My recommendations are family-focused and achievable.
- Iron deficiency — I can help to increase iron rich food sources within your child’s diet to meet recommended daily intake levels. I can work alongside your family GP to ensure optimal iron replacement therapy is being achieved. I can work alongside your child to find a supplement they will accept or provide strategies to improve acceptance.
- Feeding delays — By assessing and meeting each child where they are at on the development scale. I can help your child and the family achieve functional goals through dietary modifications and energy-boosting strategies.
- Tube feeding — I can assess and deliver the optimal feeding regimens for your child, which are flexible and designed to improve independence from tube feeding and quality of life.
- This includes an analysis of the current regimen.
- Support of mixed feeding, both oral and enteral
- Management of any complex feeding issues: vomiting, constipation and abdominal discomfort
- Food allergies — I provide education on supporting your child through a food allergy. This includes extensive label reading, food substitutes, and overall nutritional adequacy through dietary analysis. When indicated, a single nutrient may be supplemented.
- Nutritional management of gastroenterology related medical conditions.
Coeliac disease: I provide education on supporting your child through accepting a new diagnosis; this includes extensive time spent on label reading, food substitutes, cross-contamination, eating out, travelling with coeliac disease and overall nutritional adequacy through dietary analysis. When indicated, a single nutrient may be supplemented. Coeliacs require at least three consultations post-diagnosis and then yearly to ensure optimal nutritional intake, disease remission and growth.
Irritable bowel Syndrome Management:
— FODMAP Diet: I can help implement the FODMAP diet from assessment through education on managing the re-introduction step to determine individual triggers. I can also work alongside your gastroenterologist to troubleshoot strategies when your child is not responding well to the low FODMAP diet.
– Other dietary strategies: fibre modification with IBS management.
– Fructose and/or Lactose intolerance: I can work alongside you and your child to help determine their individual level of tolerance. - Lunch box planning — I can help reduce the pressure and stress around lunch box adequacy and planning. Through a nutritional analysis, I can also reassure parents that what they provide is adequate.
- Sports Nutrition — I can help troubleshoot gastrointestinal issues experienced during sporting activities. I can also support athletes with their performance goals or help improve energy regulation by managing their eating. In addition, I support athletes in improving their energy availability after training to assist in recovery and long-term injury prevention.
Teens
I can support you and your teenager in the following areas:
- General Nutrition Advice – I am here to support all growing teens with any nutritional concerns they may have.
- Sports Nutrition – I can help troubleshoot any gastrointestinal issues experienced during sporting activities. I can support athletes with their performance goals or help improve energy regulation by managing their eating. In addition, I support athletes in improving their energy availability after training to assist in recovery and prevent injury in the long term.
- Reduction in high cholesterol levels – I can assess current dietary intake to direct required modifications to reduce raised cholesterol levels.
- Weight management and eating regulation – I can assess current dietary intake to direct required modifications to support patients with their goal to achieve and maintain a healthy body composition.

NDIS
I can work together with you and your family to help meet your planned NDIS goals.
Through diet and dietary assessment modifications, I can support your growth and development, participation in your school community, and engagement in physical activity.

- Avoidant eaters — I can help provide strategies optimise opportunities for exploration and/or acceptance of a wide range of foods. I will take into account any neurodiverse aspects impacting food acceptance. I will also take into account physical challenges such as limited chewing skills and swallowing challenges. I am a neurodiverse-affirming “food therapist” and “dietitian”. I prioritise meaningful engagement and ensure sensory preferences and food passions are embraced and not changed.
- Iron deficiency — I can help to increase iron rich food sources within your child’s diet to meet recommended daily intake levels. I can work alongside your family GP to ensure optimal iron replacement therapy is being achieved.
